Version 400.0 now available!

Client release 400.0 is now available. This is the latest full release. You will be prompted to upgrade when launching the client, or you can manually download the release from our download page:

What's new since 399.0:
- Fixed a crash related to certain products.
- Fixed an issue with inventory not loading properly.
- Fixed a Peer Review modicon bug.
- We now prevent switching to an AP room if non-AP avatars are
present in the chat (previously, the non-APs would get a white screen).
- Fixed the bug where the away message would disappear after a few minutes.
- Fixed a crash that would happen when removing a clothing item after applying a mood.
- Made progress unifying the three rendering modes.
- Fixed a peer review modicon bug.
- Added sounds on chat invite, and buddy coming online.
- Fixed an issue which could cause multiple instances of IMVU to run at the same time.
- Fixed issues with opacity of low-res textures.
- Lots of product loading optimizations to reduce freezes.
- Fixed some skin rendering issues in Peer Review.
- Fixed bug where textures would not always correctly show up on furniture items.
- Fixed a memory leak that could occur if you left the 3d window open for a long time.
- Fixed a bug where text chat would break if you entered special characters (for example, "<").
- Fixed an issue with product textures not loading properly.
- Fixed a crash that could happen on login.
- Small performance tweak that should improve product loading
- Fixed the issue where clothes could start to break apart when you
zoomed out. Note that this fix was accomplished by increasing the
Z-buffer depth from 16 bit to 24 bit. Some older video cards do not
support 24 bit. In this case, it will fall back to 16 bit. This means
that if you have an old video card, it is possible that you will still
see this problem.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when clicking links that launch the client from the website.
